There is a reluctance to discuss the vulnerability of these projects and the danger that imposes on civilization. The unreliability in extreme weather is not a small problem especially for those who depend on electricity for life support.
If they can destroy cars, can you imagine what they would do to solar panels and windmills? Yet that is the direction that the anti-energy left is trying to push the world. Fire and hail are a threat to both.
