The Obama, Clinton strategic blunder in Libya stills roils North Africa and Europe

Washington Post:
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and European envoys are gathering for a summit to seek a lasting cease-fire in the Libyan conflict. But expectations are low.
When Obama, Clinton, and the Europeans toppled the Libyan government they had no plan for what came later and that has turned into a disaster not only for the country but for the war on Radical Islam.  They had no plan to control the weapons which found their way into the hands of terrorists who have used them in attacks from North Africa to the Middle East.  It was one of the biggest strategic blunders among many by the Obama administration.

This doesn't even consider their blunder in the handling of the attack on the US facility in Benghazi which got Americans killed.  That blunder likely led Iran to think they could get away with an attack on the US embassy in Iraq.  Fortunately, President Trump responded forcefully to that incursion acting to restore deterrence against terrorist regimes in the region.
