Trade deal with China eminent?

Washington Post:

White House, China reach trade deal in principle that would dramatically scale back tariffs

As part of the partial trade pact, the White House would not impose tariffs on $160 billion in Chinese imports on Sunday, people briefed on the talks said. President Trump is expected to formally approve the deal today.
If consummated this could lead to significant growth in agricultural sales to China as well as LNG from Texas shale wells.  It could lessen China's reliance on coal for producing electricity and reduce its CO2 emissions which are the largest in the world.  It could also lessen the transfer of trade secrets to the Chicoms.
