Democrat weak field seeking nomination attracts another weak candidate

Washington Post:
In December, Patrick, 63, said he would not be a candidate for president. The former two-term governor of Massachusetts, elected in 2006 and re-elected in 2010, at that time cited “the cruelty of our elections process.”
This guy was a mediocre governor and is likely to be a mediocre candidate for President.  The Democrats' weak bench is showing just how few real leaders it has.  It is a party of wacky ideas that seem most motivated by its hatred of Trump and his successful policies.  When a corrupt politician like Joe Biden is leading the pack you know how bereft this party is.
