Senior State Department officials learns that President is in charge of foreign policy

NY Times:

Senior State Dept. Ukraine Expert Says White House Sidelined Him

George Kent told investigators he was cut out of Ukraine policymaking and told to “lay low” on it, after a May meeting orchestrated by Mick Mulvaney, the acting White House chief of staff.
This should be the bottom story of the day but for the fact that the NY Times thought it was newsworthy for some reason.  The bow tie-wearing State Department employee found that the President has the final say on policy.  Who knew?
