Media still pushing false narrative of 'indigenous' people

Washington Post:
Historians once said the inhabitants of the Caribbean islands were extinct within 160 years of Columbus's arrival. But new research shows that isn't true.
The Carib Indians were not even indigenous to the islands they inhabited.  They conquered the Arawaks and ate them.  Colombus and his men were not on a mission to annihilate but were looking for a new trade route to India because radical Islamists had blocked the land trade route.  The fact is there were no indigenous people in America.  The people Colombus and other explorers came across were descendants of earlier migrants from Asia.  Those who write this stuff appear to be on a mission to annihilate history.  The left in this country seems to really hate the Europeans who help to create one of the freest and most prosperous places on earth.
