So far Imelda storm is slow moving

NY Times:

Tropical Depression Imelda Hits Houston

The storm is expected to drop six to 12 inches of rain, and could bring “life-threatening” flooding. Some schools canceled Wednesday classes.
I live to the northwest of Houston and so far we have barely seen a sprinkle. The storm was downgraded to a depression status as it came ashore.  It appears to be mainly a rain event so far for residents of Harris County.
