Texas model continues to produce strong jobs growth
Houston Chronicle:
Texas employers added more than 30,000 jobs in July as the state's unemployment rate held at an all- time low, the Texas Workforce Commission reported.This has to disappoint those in the media and on the left who have been hoping for a recession in order to defeat the President. They also have been predicting strong Democrat gains for Texas. I suspect they are wrong in that.
Employers added 35,200 jobs in July and more than 323,000 0ver the year. July's Gains were led by leisure and hospitality, construction and health services.
The unemployment rate remained at 3.4 percent. The national unemployment rate as 3.7 percent in July.
