Reality starting to impact Palestinian decision making?

West Bank Grows Calmer as Pocketbook Issues Take Priority Over Protests

A lull in protests appears to bolster the Trump administration’s belief that economic growth will produce peace. But Palestinians say the calm is a symptom of despair.
The Palestinian fantasy of replacing the Jewish state is finally facing reality.  Their demands during negotiations have always been wholly unrealistic. They have a history of rejecting a deal for decades because of their unrealistic asperations.  While Israel has become a very productive state, the Palestinians remain a beggar society living off the donations of others.  By focusing all their energy on the destruction of Israel rather than growing their own economy the Palestinians have become weaker by the day.
