Democrat hatred of Trump is doing great damage to Congress

Washington Post:
To fight House probes, Trump and his allies employ a block-everything strategy

President Trump’s noncooperation strategy has shifted from partial resistance to all-out war as he faces more than 20 separate investigations from the Democratic-controlled House — a move that many legal and congressional experts fear could undermine the institutional power of Congress for years to come.
These bad faith attempts by Democrats to attack the President on matters not related to their job of governance will ultimately backfire on them.  Since winning control of the House the Democrats have squandered their time in office on bad faith attempts to accuse the President of various things while ignoring their responsibility to do something about the border crisis.  Instead of taking the Muller report at face value they continue to pretend there was some underlying crime for Trump to obstruct an investigation of.  What legitimate legislative efforts have they undertaken since the election?

If the Democrat party is to survive it has to become something more than a resistance movement.
