Some say it is in the Quran

There is also the rather weird religious belief that once Muslims have conquered an area it can never go back to its original heritage. It reminds me of a West Texas farmer describing a neighbor who had been buying up land. The farmer said his neighbor "didn't want all the land in the world just all that adjoined his." Israel is seen as a failure by some Muslims to live up to their beliefs.
Interestingly, some Arab Muslims are changing in that attitude. Saudi Arabia is one of the most prominent. They now see Israel as an ally against a real threat from Iran. Iran is certainly ruled by religious bigots who hate Israel and the Jews who live there.
Anti-Semitism has spread through the Islamic world like a cancerSome Muslims quote passages where rocks talk and tell Muslims that a Jew is hiding behind it. I think the Jew-hatred stems from the rejection of Islam by the Jews the Muslims tried to "convert."
