Brennan's hogwash about 'Russian collusion'
Power Line:
I think Brennan had reached the Peter's principle limit of his ability at the CIA long before he became its leader.
...This is absolutely nuts. I recognized this as sarcasm as soon as I heard it in the debate. In fact, I had thought the same thing and I have never colluded with a Russian. It was a way of reminding voters about her irresponsible handling of classified material and her obstruction of justice by destroying evidence. If Brennan could not see that he had no business ever being head of the CIA.
So Trump’s public — and obviously jocular — expression of hope that Russia might be able to “find the 30,000 emails that are missing” makes Brennan wonder what Trump privately encouraged his advisers to do. Based on what he has read in the New York Times and other such organs, he has suspicions!
Hogwash indeed.
I think Brennan had reached the Peter's principle limit of his ability at the CIA long before he became its leader.
