The law firm associated with the discredited Steel dossier behind attacks on Rep. Jordan?

NY Times:

Lawmaker Is Defiant as Accusers Say He Knew of Misconduct

The Ohio congressman Jim Jordan insists he didn’t know that wrestlers on a college team he coached were being abused, and backers say he is the victim of conspirators who are trying to bring down President Trump.
This has the look and feel of a Fusion GPS smear campaign and a lawyer from Democrat law firm that was the conduit for payment to Steele, Perkins Coie has been accused of pushing this story.  It looks like another attempt by Democrats to attack anyone who has been defending President Trump.

Critics have alleged similar smear campaigns in the past.
