Brit special ops fighter runs out of ammo and kills jihadi with shovel
Daily Star:
The Taliban were eventually forced to withdraw when US Apache gunships arrived at the scene.
I recall a Marine Corps sergeant whose small unit was surrounded by the NVA in Vietnam who used his entrenching tool to fight off attacks after he and his wounded fellow Marines ran out of ammo. Several enemy soldiers were found who were killed by blunt force trauma inflicted by the sergeant with his hoe. He was later awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.
