Media already trying to spin a Democrat loss in Alabama Senate Race

Washington Post:
Why there are no good outcomes for GOP in Alabama

The U.S. Senate race sweeps in everything in the national conversation: President Trump’s standing, the fractured GOP, the Democrats’ hopes for 2018, and above all, the issue of whether political allegiance outweighs credible claims of sexual misconduct.
Here is what they are trying to hide.  Democrat policies are so repugnant to Alabama voters that they will not vote for the Democrat candidate regardless of scandalous charges against the GOP candidate.

Democrats are so distrusted that many voters do not believe the charges against Moore.  In an election like this if the Democrats lose they should reexamine their stands on the issues but they will probably double down on their attacks on the voters.

It is the same underlying problem that Democrats had in 2016 and instead of taking the lessen the Democrats concocted a bogus Russian collusion scandal and co-opted the FBI and intelligence agencies to aid that effort.  Liberalism and abortions are not a winning issue and they just can't admit it.

If the Democrats happen to win, it does not mean they won on their issues but they won by challenging the character of their opponent.

There is a case to be made that this is a lose-lose race for the Democrats.
