Tax cuts pass the House, Media attacks Senate version

NY Times:

House Passes Tax Bill but Hurdles Remain for Overhaul

  • The House took a significant leap forward as Republicans seek to enact $1.5 trillion in tax cuts for businesses and individuals.
  • The tax plan still faces significant obstacles, as Republicans seek to align the House legislation with a Senate proposal.
Most of the negative stories about the cuts are from liberals who want to keep some of the highest taxes in the world on corporations.  It is a policy that is keeping trillions of dollars from flowing back into the country that could be used for creating infrastructure and jobs.   The critics also claim the tax cuts would lead to higher taxes on the poor, which does not comport with what the House is doing since everyone but the highest bracket gets a cut.

The corporate tax cuts will increase jobs and business expansion and should also increase wages since the greedy government would not be sucking up as much of the income earned by these companies.  The US tried the high tax high regulation model under Obama and the economic growth was anemic.  Trump's deregulation has stimulated the economy and the tax cuts will put it in overdrive.
