The rubble left after the defeat of ISIS

NY Times:

This Is What Victory Over ISIS Looks Like in Syria and Iraq

Hard-won battles to retake city after city from the Islamic State have come to an end. But the campaigns have left vast destruction in their wake, and the cities are ghosts of their former glory.
The alternative to the creation of the rubble would have been to allow the genocide to continue and the mass murder attacks in Europe and the US to continue.

If the Iraqis were smart they would be focusing on rebuilding these cities.  But they seem to be influenced by the genocidal Islamic religious bigots that rule Iran so they are now attacking the Kurds with the weapons the US provided them to defeat ISIS.
