Bush and Obama don't focus on the hate emanating from the left in US
NY Times:
There is no such organized violence on the right. The suggestion that white nationalism is a growing threat is absurd. There are not enough white nationalist to fill a hotel ballroom much less a football stadium. It is just another meme the left is using to suppress and denigrate those who disagree with them.
The statue protestors in Charlottesville got a little over a dozen people to show at their latest protest. There was no violence this time because there was no Antifa attacking them. At any rate, they do not represent conservatives in this country and the media is trying to tie them to the GOP to suppress conservatism.
It is similar to the old Democrat racist tactic of attacking Republicans and liberals as "N" word lovers. It is a grotesque distortion of reality in this country. That Bush and Obama would buy into this nonsense suggests they have been co-opted by the Trump hatred of the left.
I am not suggesting that the President is above criticism, but it should be based on facts and not "feeling."
Most of the violence and hate in the US emanates from the left. From the campuses to the streets liberal fascism is seeking to use violence to suppress the first amendment rights of Americans who do not agree with them.Bush and Obama Rebuke Trump by Implication Alone
In unrelated appearances, former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama warned of hatreds tearing the nation apart. Neither named President Trump, but they left little doubt of their target.
