Haley roasts UN over its praise for Iran 'compliance'

With every month that goes by, Nikki Haley is proving herself to be a stellar US ambassador to the United Nations in the tradition of Jeane Kirkpatrick and Daniel Patrick Moynihan.

On Thursday, for example, she called out other members of the Security Council for praising Iran over its compliance with the Obama nuclear deal.

In fact, Haley thundered, the thing to note is how Tehran has gone rogue on a host of fronts, from “illicit missile launches” to “support for terrorist groups” as well as “arms smuggling” to “stoke regional conflicts and make them harder to solve.”

That followed her earlier success in cutting almost $600 million from the UN’s peacekeeping budget with the promise, “We’re only getting started.” After all, the trim’s only from $7.9 billion to $7.3 billion.

She is much smarter than any Democrats who have recently held the position.  Just calling BS on the BS that  passes for diplomacy at this rancid organization is a significant improvement.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014. When the Congressional Budget Office crunched Obamacare's spending numbers, they estimated that only 7% of employees currently covered by employer-sponsored plans would lose their plans. ...
