Counter-fire against liberal shows on cable news? Cutting the cord is probably more effective

The problem with this strategy is that the liberal networks don't get most of their money from advertisers because their audience is so weak.  Most of their revenue comes from the carry rights they get from cable and satellite TV providers.  Where they are vulnerable is with "cord cutters" who just drop the service.  That has already had a huge impact on ESPN which has been delivering sports with a dose of left wing bias.
