Thousands die as result of Obama's open borders policy

NY Times:

A Path to America, Marked by More and More Bodies

Over 16 years, the Border Patrol documented 6,023 deaths in the four states bordering Mexico, more than from the Sept. 11 attacks and Hurricane Katrina combined.
What is unstated is that with fewer people coming because of Trump's immigration enforcement policies fewer people are likely to die in the deserts trying to get here.  It would have been more humane to deal with the factors pushing people out of their home countries.  But that would not have met Obama's objective of "fundamentally transforming America."
