AG Lynch accused of giving Hillary Clinton political cover for her mishandling of secrets

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) raised questions but received no answers from FBI Director James Comey on Wednesday, when Grassley pointed to an April 22 New York Times report saying that Comey believed Attorney General Loretta Lynch gave Hillary Clinton "political cover" during the presidential campaign.

"The subject is classified," Comey said in response to Grassley's questions.

The New York Times reported that Comey's "misgivings" about Lynch were fueled by the discovery last year of a document "written by a Democratic operative that seemed - at least in the eyes of Mr. Comey and his aides - to raise questions about her independence."

Grassley told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, "The email reportedly provided assurances that Attorney General Lynch would protect Clinton by making sure the FBI investigation, quote, "didn't go too far."

Comey said he could only respond in a classified setting and not in an open hearing.  This exchange does suggest corruption within the Obama DOJ on dealing with the alleged violations of law by Clinton and possible people within the Justice Department.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
