Anti-energy left begs for money to buy gas with to go to protests of pipelines
Texans for Natural Gas:
Environmental activists in West Texas announced this week that they are relocating to Kansas after failing to stop the Trans-Pecos Pipeline. The announcement comes just months after activists bragged that they were bringing in people from North Dakota to try to shut down energy development in Texas. This is a point I have been making about the hypocrisy of the anti-energy left that uses fossil fuels to attend the protest where they try to keep it in the ground. Their lack of self-awareness probably extends to the soles of the shoes they wear too which are probably also made from a petrochemical process using natural gas. This is not to mention the transportation of the food and other consumable goods they use which also relies on fossil fuel.
In a March 29 Facebook post that was published apparently without irony, the activists asked for money to finance their relocation to the Sunflower State, noting that they “could use some help with gas” to make the trip. They added other protesters “got stuck” and now need “some help with gas money.”
