Trump has told the experts in Pentagon to develop a plan to defeat ISIS, as opposed to Obama
NY Times Editorial:
Rather than using the Obama approach of allowing uninformed people in the White House to dictate strategy instead of the military. We have seen how ineffective the Obama approach was from his disastrous withdrawal from Iraq to his micromanagement of plans to stop ISIS. Obama was the least effective President of a war effort since Lyndon Johnson.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff and those under them are much more informed on what it will take to defeat ISIS. Getting expert advice on a war strategy is the essence of sound leadership as opposed to Obama's reliance on liberal amateurs who have never participated in a war.
One has to wonder how the Times editorial board could be so misinformed.Man Without an ISIS Plan
Trump derided Obama’s anti-ISIS strategy as a disaster, though offering none of his own.
