China could best guard its own security interests by stopping the Nork threat to peace and stability

NY Times:

China Warns of Arms Race After U.S. Deployment

Beijing denounced the United States’ decision to use the Thaad missile defense technology in South Korea and vowed to “take the necessary steps to safeguard our own security interests.”
China's real concern should be directed at the kooks next door and not at those defending themselves from the threats by the kooks.  It is absurd for China to suggest that defensive measures aimed at North Korea are a threat to China unless China somehow actually supports those threats.  At any rate, China should be directing its angst at the leaders of North Korea and not the people North Korea is threatening.
