The Kurds are more dependable allies than Turkey

Whoever makes the decision, it should be to arm the Kurds.
I get the impression that Turkey's Erdogan was sitting on his hands hoping ISIL would engage in genocide against the Kurds to save him the bullets and explosives to do it himself. He seems frustrated that they actually fought off ISIL. If President Obama chooses to forge closer military ties with the Kurds for an assault on Raqqa, ISIS’ main stronghold, he risks alienating the Turks.
