Trump ignores the fiction surrounding the independence of Taiwan

The president-elect spoke by phone with the president of Taiwan in the first such contact since the United States severed diplomatic relations with the island.
I suspect China may complain and moan, but that is about it.  China is already worried about Trump cutting trade with it and will not want to give him any more excuses.  After all, China is in communication with the government in Taiwan also.
