Proposed head of EPA would change directions at the agency

Washington Post:
Trump’s pick to lead EPA is part of group suing the agency
Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt, who has written that the debate on climate change is “far from settled,” joined several of his colleagues in a lawsuit over the EPA’s Clean Power Plan.

He and his fellow state attorneys general also have sued over regulations meant to curtail methane emissions.

Industry representatives praised the pick, while environmentalists reacted with alarm.

Pruitt has been on the same side of those issues as Texas in litigation aimed to stop the overreach of the EPA and Big Green.  He would be expected to stop the abusive paractice of "sue and settle" where the agency colludes with environmental activist to get a ruling that they couls not get through Congress.
