The Health and Human Services Department cited outdated equipment and technology, lack of resources, and difficulty attracting and keeping skilled staff.
As the VA has proved over and over again, relying on government healthcare can be deadly.  It is not lack of money so much as the fact that government just does not manage healthcare as efficiently as private companies. It si also too hard to get rid of incompetent staff.
