US special ops now working with the Turks

Washington Post:
U.S. elite units start new role alongside Turkish troops in Syria

The Pentagon said U.S. Special Operations troops were sent to assist Turkish and Syrian forces around the cities of Jarabulus and Al-Rai at Turkey’s request.
That has a chance of being more productive than working with the so-called Free Syrian Army.  That groups on certain days appears to be more tied to radical Islamist than to working to put a legitimate government in place.  The Turks are no prize, but their army does appear to be more disciplined.
