The 'renewable fuels' boondoggle

Fuel Fix:
Commentary: Are presidential hopefuls ignoring real issues of renewable fuels?
If they choose to keep the current standards that would be a mistake.  They were the product of a perceived scarcity of fossil fuels and the misperception that they would reduce CO2 emissions.  Those supporting them were wrong on both counts.

They have become a boondoggle for the agribusiness lobbyist while screwing up engines large and small.  They are inefficient and have become a vehicle for fraud.

The fossil  fuel shortage is behind us and these requirements are not the answer to reducing CO2 emissions.
