Troops to use bird size drones on battlefield

Daily Mail:

A new pocket-sized air drone, known as the PD-100, has won positive reviews from US soldiers trialing the technology in Hawaii over recent weeks. The drones are so tiny they look like birds.
The drones have a range of 1.5 miles and a flight time of 25 minutes so they give the troops only a peek at the situation.  They also tested small ground drones that look like miniature tanks.
