Obama is misinformed on the ease with which a teenager can get a book



His statement about it being easier for a teen to get a Glock than a book is just not even close to being true. Has he ever heard of libraries?  Dr. Ben Carson talks about how reading books from the library changed his life. Most of these youngsters have smartphones and they could easily download books from Amazon for less than the cost of bullets. The problem is not the availability of books, it is the priorities of the teens in these neighborhoods.

Obama is also wrong about school funding. The US spends more than most countries on education and gets some of the poorest results because of the failures of liberals running the schools.

    I wonder how many teenagers have cell phones.
    I have the Kindle app installed on my cell phone, and through that, access to large numbers of low cost and free books.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
