Black activist working against the safety of blacks in poor neighborhoods

NY Times:

Black Activists Say Obama Should Push Harder on Policing

Activists have questioned why he is not doing more to help. It’s complicated, President Obama has explained — a response he acknowledges is accurate and unsatisfying.
Comunity policing is necessarily intrusive, but it has saved thousands of black lives since it was instituted in the 1990's.  In places where it has been reduced, such as Baltimore after the Freddie Gray riots, the murder rate of blacks in these neighborhoods has skyrocketed.

The activists do not seem to comprehend the damage they are doing to their own neighbors.

They have not offered a better plan to stop the killing.  Gun control will not work.  Chicago has proved that.
