Iraqi logistics hampers effort against ISIL

Iraqi Army Seen as Ill Equipped to Retake Mosul From ISIS, Despite U.S. Aid

The Iraqis are having trouble moving supplies to their troops on battlefields, and a planned offensive against the Islamic State’s stronghold will probably have to wait.
Their troops are not that great either which makes the lack of a good logistic effort even more important.  Logistics are the key to an effective plan of attack.  Without it, those at the point of the spear run out of bullets and food.
