Fragile Iranian government accuses British mother with toddler of plotting to overthrow regime

Iran accuses detained British mother of plotting to overthrow regime

Iran’s regime has accused a British mother of being a “spy” plotting to “overthrow the Islamic Republic” as the authorities offered their first explanation for why the woman has been detained.

Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, 37, was arrested on April 3 as she tried to leave Iran with her infant daughter, Gabriella, who has since turned two.
The woman was in the country visiting her mother and grandmother.  It gives you some idea of the paranoid leadership of this government of Islamic religious bigots.
