Obama's attempt to defeat ISIL on cheap not working

Washington Post:
War against ISIS hits hurdles just as the U.S. military gears up

After swift advances, the U.S. has been adding hundreds of Special Operations forces and Marines, an acknowledgment, U.S. officials say, that the war against the Islamic State can’t be won without a greater level of American involvement.
The war drags on because Obama has failed to provide adequate resources for the fight and is trying to win it by restricting the US use of force to a limited number of air strikes, and decapitation attacks and a few special ops raids and trainers.  What is needed is a combined arms operation that could take out ISIL in a matter of weeks and stop the bloodshed.
