US stealth destroyer has option to be seen

It could be a danger to navigation at night for other ships and boats who do not appreciate how big it is. One of the right away rules for ocean-going traffic is that smaller more maneuverable boats must give way to bigger ships that take longer to turn away. When I was doing ocean racing we called this the "Big Boat Rule."
The future USS Zumwalt is massive, but it looks much smaller on radar, so it will carry reflective material that can be hoisted to make it more visible to other friendly ships.
