The oddball candidates in each party

Dan Balz:
Trump and Sanders don’t hold each other in high regard, but they have much in common

Both outsiders are agitating the political establishment, and they share similar views on trade, Iraq, the Middle East, NATO and rigged systems.
I question the intellectual capacity of both of them.  Sanders is pushing a failed ideology that has been a disaster for millions around the world.  Trump ranges from incoherent to obtuse.   On most of the things they have in common, they are both wrong.  When it comes to intellectual firepower they are both disarmed against a candidate like Ted Cruz.
