Cruz campaigning in California already

NY Times:

Ted Cruz Sees Milk and Honey in Blue California

Nearly two months before the state’s primary on June 7, Senator Ted Cruz is heading west for two stops on Monday, holding rallies in Irvine and San Diego as most of the political class remains focused on a contest about 3,000 miles away.
Califonia may be the key to stopping Trump from getting to 1237 delegates.  Cruz is wise to begin work early in that state.  San Diego is one of the more sane areas in the otherwise liberal state.  There is a strong military presence in the area.
