G.O.P. Legislators Face New Pressure to Decide: Can They Get Behind Trump?

G.O.P. lawmakers are under increasing pressure to decide if they can get behind the candidacy of Donald J. Trump, creating a rift within the party.
Trump is too much of a wild card to get behind him.  At this point, even he does not seem to know which say he would lead from day to day.  The smart course is to lay out an agenda and tell voters you are going to support that agenda no matter who is elected.  Treat the election like they did in 2014 by pointing out policies they will oppose.
