House GOP leadership tries to fool conservatives and voters

Erick Erickson:
Multiple people confirm to me that just a few hours ago Pete Sessions blew up about Ted Cruz and made sure everyone in the room knew he held Cruz in absolute contempt.

It might be because Ted Cruz just called BS on Eric Cantor and Pete Sessions trying to screw conservatives.

Cantor and Sessions are pursuing a plan to make it very easy for the House to vote for defunding Obamacare while ensuring Obamacare is still able to get funded. Cruz, in a press release earlier today, called on the House of Representatives to not get cute and actually defund Obamacare.
...
They seem to fear that voters will reject them if they give Obama what he wants, but they also fear rejection if they make a good faith effort to actually defund Obamacare.  Instead they put together an effort that is supposed to make Democrats in the Senate vote in favor of Obamacare again which is also supposed to give House Republicans cover on the issue even though the legislation they were elected to stop stays in effect.  They are in effect surrendering to the liberal proponents of the law while trying to be cute rather than trying to kill it and put the onus on the President if he shuts down the government to keep the hated law alive.

Ted Cruz is exposing their duplicity and they are angry about that.
