Biden tells you who he fears the most--Ted Cruz

Dallas Morning News:
Twice this week, Vice President Joe Biden has raised the same alarm with fellow Democrats: Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is calling the shots among Republicans in the U.S. Senate.

“This is not your father’s Republican Party, it’s fundamentally different,” Biden told donors Friday night in a San Francisco mansion. “There’s no one with whom to deal with and there’s no one in charge anymore.”

With a sweeping view of the Golden Gate behind him, donors who’d cut checks up to $10,000 to the national party nibbled on mushroom empanadas and beef and cheese pub pie, as Biden singled out Cruz and fellow tea party Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.

They’re “bright new guys,” he said. And “they are the ones that control the Republican Party right now, literally. I’ve never seen a time in all the years I was in the Senate that two freshmen have so much impact on the entirety of the Republican Party.”

Biden made the same point Tuesday night in Washington, at a fund-raiser for Massachusetts Senate candidate Ed Markey, who faces Republican Gabriel Gomez in a June 25 special election.

“The last thing in the world we need now is someone who will go down to the United States Senate and support Ted Cruz, support the new senator from Kentucky,” Biden warned. “Have you ever seen a time when two freshman senators are able to cower the bulk of the Republican Party in the Senate? That is not hyperbole.”

These guys have really gotten in their head by getting inside their OODA loop.  It si very scary for Democrats to see smart people opposing them.
