Voter fraud and voter ID
Soren Dayton takes on the NY Times and its bogus assertion that there is not record of voter fraud by giving specific examples.
I have another beef. It is the bogus assertion that voter ID requirements will prevent any legitimate voter from voting. It is an insult to the intelligence of blacks and the elderly to suggest they do not have or cannot get voter IDs. How many elderly people do you know who do not have Social Security cards and other identification? These cards may not have photo IDs but they are widely used and a photo ID can be obtained in every state that has a voter ID requirement. People who are attempting to register others to vote can also assist them in getting a voter ID if they do not already have one. I think most people will have them.
I think Democrats oppose these laws because they want to make it possible for them to steal elections. Their arguments against the law are so weak that it is hard to think of another reason to support their opposition.
