The high cost of Uighurs
Gateway Pundit posts on the $200 million dollar bribe the Obama administration paid Palau to take the Uighurs from Gitmo that no one else wanted. Palau is an island in the South Pacific where the US Marines had a bloody battle with Japan in World War II. Not much of interest has happened since then, but if it was teh place where the cargo cult was looking for a US return, they may think their prayers have been answered by accepting the Uighurs.
It would have been cheaper to keep them at Gitmo.
