The dismissive media--Miami Herald addition

In a story on McCain's campaign continued use of Obama's gaffe on wealth transfer throws this in early in its article.

That Samuel Joe Wurzelbacher is neither a plumber nor a taxpayer in good standing -- he doesn't have a license and owes back taxes -- hasn't stopped McCain from constantly mentioning him. After weeks of watching his poll numbers slump along with the economy, the Republican nominee has found his muse.

I have mentioned this dismissive sentence or paragraph in other articles by liberal media. That the points they think they are making are immaterial does not stop the media from throwing it in there when McCain continues to hammer Obama on his gaffe. It is typical treatment that liberals throw out in these campaigns when an issue hurts their guy. They used a similar tact as they tried to dismiss the swift vets.
