AP/MSNBC:

Nine people convicted in cases linked to 2003 terrorist attacks in Casablanca have escaped from prison, Morocco's state news agency reported Monday.

There were 45 people killed in the human bomb attacks. While the US probably has much better security at Gitmo, it is probably aided by the fact that no one is desperate enough to want to escape into Castro's Cuba.

The Telegraph reports the terrorist escaped by tunneling out of the facility. "The jailbreak came as the European Union's anti-terrorism co-ordinator gave warning that a 'real threat' from al-Qa'eda-affiliated terrorists was developing in north Africa."
