NY Times affirms terrorist rights legacy

With this headline on the veto of the bill banning waterboarding:

Bush’s Veto of Bill on C.I.A. Tactics Affirms His Legacy

You have to wait for the third paragraph to learn why he vetoed the bill. “Because the danger remains, we need to ensure our intelligence officials have all the tools they need to stop the terrorists.”

What we find is that the NY Times is on the legacy watch, not the President. It would rather have Americans killed than discomfort the terrorist. The NY Times legacy is clearly favors terrorist rights over the rights of innocent Americans.
