Democrats retreat from national security
David Limbaugh:
Al Qaeda's original intention was to draw the US into a quagmire in Afghanistan which is better suited for insurgency warfare and it hoped to bring the jihadis in to defeat us there. Iraq turned out to be a strategic diversion for al Qaeda. It was one that they could not ignore. It is also a place where al Qaeda has suffered a strategic defeat with the rejection of Muslims of their radical ideology and way of making war against non combatants.
Obama has been basing his campaign against the Iraq war on the past and not on the future he claims to represent. McCain has already noted this. Eventually voters should also catch on.
Quoted material removed. You may read the original at the link above. He has several more good points. The Democrat position on Iraq also ignores al Qaeda's grand strategy.
