Camielle deportation put on hold
The 15 year old step daughter of a British citizen will not be deported to the US before March 25 now. While the deportation order for her was not appealable, the one for her mother Lee-Ann was. Camielle's three siblings all have British passports because their father is a British citizen. They had been living in India until two years ago.
What is so strange about this case is that the UK immigration service has been absolutely toothless in its ability to remove terrorist from the country, but seems pretty brutal in its attempt to split up a pretty normal family.
The family does have a lawyer and a local member of Parliament working the problem.
Lee-Ann Korpal and her daughter Camielle are originally from Texas. The oldest of the other three children is 13.
